Tree Planting in Tibet
The water supply for millions of people in India, Nepal, Bangladesh and China are dependent on a healthy environment in Tibet, and therefore the association is working with environmental issues. The association realizes that to plant trees and educate local people about the environment is a major challenge. The association has already planted 10,000 trees on school grounds. The goal is to plant 108,000 trees in Tibet.
